The first step to ensure successful access to the court’s NextGen system, filers must own an individual upgraded PACER account. Depending on when your PACER account was created, it may already be
upgraded. To determine if your PACER account needs to be upgraded, review the following:

If your individual PACER account username consists of eight or more characters, then no further action is required. Your account is already upgraded.

If your individual PACER account username consists of six characters only, then your account must be upgraded.
