Please note that the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Michigan will be transitioning to the Next Generation of Case Management/Electronic Case Filing (NextGen) system commencing at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2020 through 8:00 a.m. Monday, November 23, 2020.  During this time, the CM/ECF system will be unavailable for filing and viewing any documents.  Admin Order 2020-5.

Please be aware that this is a significant upgrade and it is suggested that you visit the court’s website often for the most current information regarding NextGen.  Preparation for NextGen may begin now!  Detailed instructions are available  on the court’s website through the NextGen CM/ECF Link. 

Bankruptcy Software Users:  Prior to November 23, please contact your software vendor to ensure you have the most recent version compatible with NextGen.  Any updates for NextGen should be not be utilized prior to the upgrade.
