Register to E-File

Register to E-File: 

Before registering to e-file, applicants much first obtain a username and login through PACER (Public Access to Court Electronic Records).  After a PACER account has been established, registrants may request access to file electronically in this court.

Attorney Registration
To practice in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Michigan, attorneys must be admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan.  For more information regarding attorney admissions, visit https://www.miwd.uscourts.gov. 

Non-Attorney Registration
A non-attorney filer is a user that has limited filing privileges and may file requests for notices, reaffirmation agreements, and withdrawals or transfers of claims.  

 

*Training is required prior to becoming a registered e-filer, however it may be waived if you currently e-file in another Bankruptcy District.
 
Filing a Proof of Claim (Registration NOT required) - It is no longer necessary to have a CM/ECF Login & Password to file either a proof of claim or amended claim.  For more information and instructions on how to utilize this feature, please go to Electronic Filing of Proof of Claim (ePOC) Instructions.
